Solar Energy

1. Solar modules collect energy from the sun and convert it into DC electricity. The size of your array is based on homes electricity needs.

2. An inverter converts DC electricity to AC electricity for use in your home.

3. A bi-directional electric meter displays net power usage. When the system generates more electricity, your meter register the credits (spins backwards). when it generates less than your are using, it slowly spins forward.

4. The system operates silently and virtually maintenance-free. Monitoring systems can help you track your systems production and homes electrical usage.

5. The utility grid acts as a giant battery storing excess electricity generated for your future use.

The Solar Energy Process

Solar Installation Process

A Parker Roofing design specialist will schedule a free site consultation to determine the optimal configuration for your homes solar system.

Parker Roofing will then provide a detailed proposal, financial analysis and payback calculations based on your annual electrical usage. A custom solar PV design will also be prepared using CAD engineering software.

Upon acceptance of proposal we will assist you in submitting the required applications to obtain all available rebates and incentives.

A final site assessment will be made to ensure proper roof and electrical tie-in and inverter location, maximizing system production and ensuring an efficient, clean and professional installation.
